Ingredients:

  • – 8 ounces of lion’s mane mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon of Sichuan pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Sichuan pepper, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, minced garlic, and ginger. Whisk together until evenly combined.
  3. In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil and sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the combined sauce and green onions to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the chili flakes, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve over steamed rice
